 Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role 

Wintec | Te Pūkenga invites dynamic and experienced registered nurses (RN) to join our Te Kura o te Oranga (Centre for Health & Social Practice) team in the heart of Waikato. As a leading institution committed to delivering quality education, we are excited to be able to offer a full-time permanent positions within our nursing education team. The position is suitable for a RN that is looking to enter the education sector. In your role you will:

  • facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for nursing students.
  • instruct and mentor students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
  • foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • stay current with industry trends and best practices.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $85,000 and $97,700, dependent on skills and experience.

He kōrero mōu | About you

We are looking for people that:

  • have an understanding of Te Ao Māori. 
  • experience and knowledge of mental health nursing.  
  • have a current annual practising certificate.
  • belong to a relevant professional body.
  • have five or more years of experience in the nursing profession.
  • possess a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.
