We’re looking for an experienced Contracts Office Manager to lead our Contracts Office and provide high-quality contractual advice and support across Wintec.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our contracts and agreements are well managed, commercially sound and aligned with our legislative and regulatory obligations. You’ll bring strong contractual expertise, sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach to working with stakeholders across the organisation.

About the role

As Contracts Office Manager, you will:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts and agreements, providing advice on contractual risk, compliance, liability, disputes and claims.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on Wintec’s contracts, policies and practices.
  • Develop and maintain contract management policies, procedures, guidelines and standard templates, ensuring contracts are appropriately managed and executed.
  • Lead and support the Contracts Office team, fostering a collaborative, responsive and high-performing team environment.
  • Build strong and effective relationships across Wintec, providing practical, timely and high-quality contractual support to stakeholders.
  • Oversee effective contract and intellectual property records and systems, ensuring compliance with the Records Management Act 2005 and relevant standards and retention requirements.
  • Contribute to effective budget management and the ongoing development and improvement of Wintec’s contract management practices.

About you

You’ll be an experienced contracts professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
  • Strong knowledge of contractual risk, compliance, liability and dispute management.
  • The ability to interpret legislation and regulatory requirements and translate these into practical advice and action.
  • Excellent judgement and attention to detail, with the confidence to identify and manage risk while supporting business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build a collaborative, capable and service-focused team.
  • A proactive approach to improving systems, processes and ways of working.
  • The ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex contractual matters clearly and practically.
