Join Wintec’s Trades and Engineering team and use your practical Engineering experience to inspire and prepare students for successful careers. You’ll teach across our Level 6 New Zealand Diploma in Engineering and Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering Technology, bringing real-world knowledge and industry connections into the learning experience.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead the design and delivery of Core Engineering courses.
- Develop engaging teaching resources and assessments.
- Support and assess students as they build their technical skills.
- Bring current industry practice and real-world experience into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry to create innovative learning opportunities.
- Help shape the future of the Engineering profession in Aotearoa New Zealand.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for an experienced Engineer with:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- Current industry experience and strong technical capability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for sharing your knowledge and supporting the next generation of engineers.
You don’t need to have teaching experience to be successful in this role. If you have strong industry knowledge, a passion for your profession and an interest in developing others, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary: $77,500 – $96,800, depending on skills and experience.
