Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated, approachable people who enjoy working in a structured, fast paced and constantly changing team environment. We continually work on improving our processes with the goal of improving student experiences. That is why there are no two days alike and we are fluid in our roles. 

In this role you would be a part of the Student Enrolment and Information Centre, who are responsible for assessing applications against programme entry criteria, issuing offers, enrolling into courses, and making sure students receive everything they need to join us at Wintec for their studies.  This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to understand regulations and programme entry criteria. We use Arion as our Student Management System, there is a lot of data entry aspects of tasks as well as communication with potential learners. A high level of accuracy and computer literacy will be required for you to be successful in this role. 

He kōrero mōu| About you

You will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines; you will be able to demonstrate a passion for providing solutions for customer while meeting business outcomes.  You will be highly proficient with various computer software programmes, including a good understanding of MS Excel, enjoy numbers and data and able to maintain a high level of accuracy. Adaptability and flexibility are essential for this role. Ideally you will understand tertiary level qualifications and the tertiary education sector in New Zealand. We work fluidly as a whole team and take pride in the knowledge we have. 

The ability to build an instant rapport with our internal and external customers, especially over the phone and proven success within a similar role is beneficial – for all the nitty-gritty details, we will provide training and support.
