Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated, approachable person who enjoys working in a structured, fast paced and constantly changing team environment. We continually work on improving our processes with the goal of improving the ākonga experience.
This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity where you will be a part of the Admission and Enrolment team. This team is responsible for assessing applications against programme entry criteria, issuing offers, enrolling ākonga into courses and making sure prospective and current ākonga receive everything they need to study at Wintec. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to understand regulations and programme entry criteria. A high level of accuracy and computer literacy will be required for you to be successful in this role.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $58,000 and $65,000, dependent on skills and experience.
The Enrolment and Information Advisor role is based at the Wintec city campus and reports to the Team Leader in the Student Enrolment and Information Centre.

You will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines; you will be able to demonstrate a passion for providing solutions for the customers while meeting business outcomes. You will be highly proficient with various computer software programmes, including a good understanding of MS Excel, enjoy numbers and data and have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy. Ideally you will understand tertiary level qualifications and the tertiary education sector in New Zealand. We work fluidly as a whole team and take pride in the knowledge we have – adaptability and flexibility are essential!
