The appointing salary for this role will be between $65,000 and $85,400, dependent on skills and experience.

The International Student Services Advisor role, Wintec | Te Pūkenga reporting to the International Student Services Manager and will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting international students from pre-arrival to graduation.
  • Providing timely, student-focused customer service aligned with the Code of Practice.
  • Coordinating orientation and student engagement activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting risk management.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills and a student-centred approach.
  • Knowledge and understanding of tertiary education.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity in a diverse environment and a collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork.
  • Sound judgement, discretion, and problem-solving ability with the ability to self-manage, prioritise, and adapt to change.
