About the Role

Wintec Professional Programmes is seeking an experienced and engaging Training Facilitator to deliver our Manage Projects programme. This practical professional development course equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills required to successfully plan, manage and deliver projects across a range of industries.

We are looking for an industry professional who is passionate about developing others and can bring real-world project management experience into the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their expertise while helping professionals build the confidence and capability to successfully lead projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate engaging, practical and interactive learning one day Workshop sessions.
  • Deliver course content that reflects current project management principles and industry best practice.
  • Encourage learner participation through discussion, activities and real-life case studies.
  • Support learners to develop practical skills in planning, organising and managing projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance throughout the programme.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and complete programme administration requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and continuous improvement of programme resources.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience managing projects within a business, commercial or public sector environment.
  • Has excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage adult learners.
  • Is passionate about developing others and creating positive learning experiences.
  • Has experience facilitating training, coaching, mentoring or presenting to groups (preferred but not essential).
  • Has sound knowledge of project planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, risk management and project delivery.
  • Can relate project management concepts to practical workplace scenarios.
  • Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
  • Holds a relevant qualification in project management, business, leadership or a related discipline (desirable).
  • Possesses a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.

The Manage Projects programme provides participants with practical skills to confidently manage projects from initiation through to completion.

  • The role of the Project Manager
  • Understanding the project life cycle
  • Project planning and preparation

  • Project scheduling
  • Using target charts
  • Laying out and managing project activities
