Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Quality and Academic Unit to help support various quality assurance activities across the organisation. You will be joining an experienced team who are passionate about achieving positive outcomes for learners and other stakeholders.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $65,000 and $85,400, dependent on skills and experience.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is based at the Wintec| Te Pūkenga City Campus, reporting to the Institutional Quality Manager and will be responsible for: 

  • Collating committee agendas, recording committee minutes and providing secretarial support to committees within the Wintec governance framework.
  • Advising on ways to improve institutional quality assurance processes and systems.
  • Proving support in collating and reporting on institutional risk.
  • Monitoring regulatory bodies (e.g. NZQA) for changes to existing, or new, rules that will impact on Wintec.
  •  Ensuring data integrity of changes to modules and programmes across a range of systems, including the Wintec student management system (SMS) and the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) data platforms.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least four years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience in the tertiary education environment (understanding of internal and external approval and accreditation processes is an advantage).
  • Experience in collating agendas, taking minutes and servicing formal meetings.
  • Experience problem solving administrative challenges.
  • Knowledge of computer-based customer/student management systems is desirable.
