Wintec invites dynamic and experienced registered nurses (RN) to join our Te Kura o te Oranga (Centre for Health & Social Practice) team in the heart of Waikato. As a leading institution committed to delivering quality education, we are excited to be able to offer a part- time or full-time position within our nursing education team. The position is suitable for a RN that has experience in the nursing education sector. In your role, you will:
- facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for nursing students.
- instruct and mentor students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
- foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- stay current with industry trends and best practices.
The appointing salary will be between $ 90,800 and $ 113,500 (pro rata) dependent on skills and experience.

We are looking for people that:
- have experience in nursing education in the tertiary sector.
- have an understanding of Te Ao Māori.
- have a current annual practicing certificate.
- belong to a relevant professional body.
- have five or more years of experience in the nursing profession in New Zealand.
- possess a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.
We are looking for someone with broad understanding of nursing in a variety of settings. Experience in nursing in the tertiary sector is important. Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies is a plus. For more information, please view the Position Description below.
