The salary for this role will be up to a maximum of $65000, this will be dependent on skills and experience.

The Student Recruitment Consultant - Front Facing is based at Wintec | Te Pūkenga reporting to the Team Leader- Student Enrolment and Information Centre and will be responsible for: 

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to prospective students to help them meet their career and study aspirations. 
  • Assisting the Student Enrolment and Information Centre to meet and exceed key performance targets. 
  • Providing support and assistance to potential, current and past Wintec students through all mediums (phone, email, face-to-face).
  • Providing  efficient and customer focussed service in an accurate and timely manner to external and internal customers.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An outgoing personality with a high level of customer service and a genuine desire to answer enquiries and solve issues for customers.
  • The ability to quickly understand the needs of customers and how to respond to these.
  • Self-motivation to own and carry out tasks in a timely manner both as an individual and within a team environment. 
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as knowledge of the Microsoft suite. 
  • An understanding of tertiary study and the needs of students at this level.
