Do you love connecting organisations and learners with training and development solutions? Do you thrive in a sales environment? Do you have a passion for the education and training sector?
If you said yes to all of these questions, we want to hear from you.
The Company
LearningWorks Limited, a subsidiary of Te Pūkenga, elevate learners and learning with practical training and development, innovative learning technology and thoughtful learning design. Our holistic approach integrates expert Learning Design, sound and secure Learning Technologies and impactful Training & Development to create cohesive and effective educational solutions.
We have been in the business of education and training since 2005, providing quality results for the education, health, government, and commercial sectors.
The Role
This is a new and exciting role for those who thrive on identifying sales leads and are driven to close the sale.
Working alongside the General Manager Operations & Training, you’ll play an integral role in generating leads and connecting with employers and learners to secure enrolments and identify and promote cross-selling opportunities for LearningWorks products and services.
You’ll be getting leads in the door, establishing and maintaining great relationships with clients and learners, and providing expert product and service knowledge to achieve set revenue targets and enrolment numbers. Behind the scenes you’ll be setting up call plans (leads and existing), generating quotes and proposals in response to inquiries, and tracking your sales activity through our CRM system.
The Person
Communication is key in this role, so we need someone who is in their element communicating with a range of new and existing stakeholders, and also means you have a great ability to listen. An affinity with sales is also really important, as is a good few years’ experience in a sales role. As with any sales role, you’ll need to be target driven, incredibly organised, able to handle conflicting demands and deadlines, and be great with your follow-up.
You’ll of course need to know your way around different systems & process and will be a fast learner. Experience in the education and training sector would be fantastic but isn’t essential.
